COME AND VISIT IT!

PINZOLO - Culture, Nature, Sport and Relaxation

In the upper Rendena Valley, at an altitude of 785 metres, surrounded by the Brenta, Adamello and Presanella groups, lies Pinzolo, an enchanting alpine village.

It is the ideal starting point for excursions, from walks suitable for the whole family to the most demanding climbs.

Sports lovers can try numerous disciplines, from trekking to climbing, from paragliding to mountain biking.

The more relaxed can enjoy the town's parks and green areas and explore the numerous cultural itineraries that tell the history and traditions of this land.

In winter, the ski area (30 km), connected to the Madonna di Campiglio SkiArea, is suitable for beginner skiers, while the more demanding can find the right slopes to improve their technique.

Try a ski-mountaineering excursion, a more leisurely walk with ‘snowshoes’ or a paragliding flight to discover the most evocative aspects of this welcoming location.

Madonna di Campiglio - The pearl of the Dolomites

Madonna di Campiglio, at an altitude of 1550 metres, in the beautiful basin between the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello and Presanella glaciers, is today certainly the number one of the Italian ski area and one of the most important in the entire Alpine arc.

Just a few steps outside the town centre, renowned for its mundanity, are enough to immerse oneself in a roundabout of lakes, small valleys, streams, mountain pastures and refuges.

The 50,000 hectares of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park and the 450 km of mountain trails offer incredible impressions to those who walk or mountain-bike through the coolness of the fir forests and the enchantment of the larch woods.

The variety of its mountain environment ensures that in winter, starting from the town centre and returning to it without taking off the skis, it is possible to cover more than 150 km of slopes on the three districts of Madonna di Campiglio, Pinzolo and Folgarida-Marilleva.

Wonderful excursions await ski mountaineering and snowshoeing enthusiasts.

Brenta Dolomites - UNESCO HERITAGE

The proclamation took place in 2009 at the Palace of Congresses in Seville, Spain, with the unanimous judgement of the 21 members of the World Heritage Committee.
